David graduated from Western Carolina University in 2023 with a Master of Social Work, building on his Bachelor in Hospitality from the University of South Carolina. In his previous career, he worked closely with local food and farmers, and has always felt most connected when he is in nature, feet in a river. Raised in the salt marsh of the South Carolina Lowcountry, David spent his youth on the water. His home, where his heart belongs, has always been the mountains and rivers of Appalachia. David brings a peaceful pace to his therapy work, using the Internal Family Systems (Level 1 Trained) as his primary modality to help his clients connect with their inner landscape and trusts that they are the experts of their own healing. During his free time he likes to spend time in the garden, fly fishing the Green River, or hiking Linville Gorge with his two daughters, wife (Faith!), and his puppies Hazel, Boomer, and Luna.
