JoAnn has worked with Rutherford County Department of Social Services since 2011, and previously worked with women recovering from Sexual Assault at Lydia’s House after receiving an Associate’s Degree in Human Services and Substance Abuse Counseling in 2008. JoAnn graduated from Appalachian State University with a BSW in 2011, and graduated from East Tennessee State University with a MSW in 2019. JoAnn was a Treatment Social Worker until 2018 when she joined the Foster Care Adoption Unit.
