Born in the Netherlands, Karin moved to the United States at 18 years old on a tennis scholarship. After college she worked as a Vice President for a hospital until 2006. Since then she has traveled the world, pursuing many kinds of interests. Her portfolio is unique and non-linear. She is a business owner, Bible teacher, executive chef, wife and mother of 5 boys (18-33 years old). She holds a DMin, an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, an MTh, and an MBA.

Her interests have led her to pursue a comprehensive healing journey centered around clarity, tranquility, health, and overall well-being. Karin’s love for God and the constant pursuit of learning shows in her desire to help and serve others to achieve a fulfilling life. Karin works with children, adolescents, and adults who experience a variety of life challenges, such as depression, anxiety, (complex) trauma, grief, addiction, and relationship issues. Her theoretical emphasis is person-centered, and she is trained in and utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities to best fit the unique needs of her clients, including CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, and EMDR.
