Miranda is a native of Rutherford County, North Carolina. Her passion to inspire others began while working in the dialysis field. It was then, she decided to pursue a career in social work.  Miranda is a first-generation graduate from Appalachian State University.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work degree in the fall of 2019, and Master of Social Work in the Spring of 2022. Miranda was placed into clinical internships while obtaining her MSW. It was then, she quickly realized she would pursue her LCSWA after graduating.  

Miranda is especially passionate in teaching others how to heal their mind body and soul using their own energy through meditation and mindfulness. Miranda will engage in future learning opportunities in experiential therapy, play therapy, yoga, and Qigong. Her goal is to provide a therapeutic experience that can help others help themselves change their lives, one positive thought at a time.
